Training Tracker helps businesses demonstrate training compliance with regulatory agencies and save time with a cloud-based software solution that has automated and easy-to-use features to stay up to date and improve efficiency - all pain-free and risk-free.
The training tracker software has been around since the 1990s. Jen Remsik, the founder of Training Tracker, purchased the product (the training tracker software) in May 2018 and formed Training Tracker (business) around it.
Training Tracker empowers businesses to track training and certifications efficiently to prove compliance with regulatory agencies. In addition, the Training Tracker software reduces the time spent tracking these details so that time can be spent on more impactful things.
There are a myriad of ethical challenges that the SaaS industry faces, including privacy and copyright laws. So, compliance is extremely important.
However, according to Remsik, “the topic of training compliance can be tedious and no fun. In addition, it is challenging to display personality and humor while covering serious safety topics.”
Jen received a pair of Sock Club socks at a conference, and decided she wanted to try the process for herself. “The buying process is easy,” said Remsik. “I knew exactly what to expect along the way. I know if I have questions, I will receive an answer quickly. For example, once I had an issue with a discount code. I messaged customer service, and they had it fixed within minutes.”
The Training Tracker team tried ordering custom socks for their event swag, and they were hooked. “It is common for tech companies to give out branded t-shirts as company swag,” said Remsik. “The challenge with t-shirts is the sizes. I love giving out socks because I don't need to worry about sizes. Besides, people seem to love fun and comfy socks.”
Since their first order, the Training Tracker team has expanded their use of socks to several other initiatives.
“I give out the Training Tracker branded socks during expos as a thank you when someone schedules a demo. I also mail socks to customers during the holidays as a Thank you.”
“I am selling a specially designed sock (an elephant) as a fundraiser for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and their Adopt an African Elephant program.”
“A goal was to provide a swag item that people would use and talk about. For example, I was exhibiting at a conference, and the keynote speaker asked if they could have a pair of socks to show during their speech the following day. Unfortunately, I could not attend the keynote. However, I overheard people say as they approached my booth, ‘those are the socks!!’ I was the only one giving out socks, and people wanted to talk to me so they could get a pair of socks.”
Not only did the socks help Remsik and her team generate interest, but they also helped them generate revenue. “It is a success when customers share photos of them wearing the socks or when we receive a thank you message stating how much they love the socks,” said Remsik. “After being at an expo for 8 hours over two days, I had two months of demos scheduled. About 10% of those demos converted to customers.”
